Work has been really frustrating and I am need of some de-stressing. I really want a job I LOVE, not just one I tolerate/like occasionally. I have been so stressed and really need to not let it get to me.
I didn’t have much of an appetite today so I ate a Kashi granola bar for breakfast, some grapes for a snack and some chili for lunch. Not enough!! After work I went and got a massage and got beat up, he worked out so many knots out of my back. I felt much better after.
Our grill wasn’t working tonight (why do 5 things break at the same time in the house- our toilets are not working properly, the grill, and our garage door was being funny as well) so we broiled our streaks and they turned out well. I ate about 1/3 of the steak, and filled up on salad. All we added to the steak was a herbed salt we bought in Italy, they turned out well. We also made salads with sunflower seeds, tomatoes, peppers, broccoli and a bit of mozzarella. They were tasty!
We are still trying wine for the party so tonight’s wine was Villa Cafaggio, a Chianti Classico from Tuscany where we were, it was a really good bottle. It paired well with the steak and salad and had a nice finish.
