This weekend seemed to fly by! Friday night we made really good time and were in the Appleton area by 8:30ish. We dropped off bags at Randy and Nikki’s and then headed to a restaurant called Good Company on College Ave in Appleton. I was really surprised with the restaurant, it was really fun and the food was good. We had a few drinks and opted for the fish fry which was amazing. It has been a few years since I have had a traditional Wisconsin fish fry. Very tasty!
Saturday morning we got up and headed to breakfast at IHOP and then headed back to Randy and Nikki’s to get ready for the wedding. It was a 1:30 ceremony at the catholic church in Freedom and it was a really pretty church. Tracy and all her bridesmaids looked beautiful and the ceremony had great readings. The reception was held at a supper club a few blocks away and it was a cute place. For wedding food, it was pretty good! It was “picnic” style food with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn and coleslaw.
I enjoyed seeing friends from high school and it made me think how much I miss seeing a lot of them. When you live 5+ hours from where you grew up it makes it difficult to connect with old friends. Here are a few girlfriends and I last night (Crystal, Vanessa, me, Stacey).

Today we got up about 8, showered quickly and got on the road. We had two stops and it took us about 4 1/2 hours, not to bad. The plan for the rest of the day is to do some picking up around the house and try to relax at bit.
