We are having our at home “reception” this weekend and we met with caterer to finalize numbers and the menu. We are having pulled pork, beef brisket, pasta salad, baked beans and a strawberry spinach salad. It should be pretty tasty! After meeting with the caterer we ran to Sam’s Club to get snacks for the party and tons of beer. A few hundred dollars later we have nuts, chips and salsa, a ton oother snacks and about 6 kinds of beer 
I was still on the hunt for a dress to wear on Saturday and found a great deal on a white sundress at White House/Black Market. It has been challenging to find a white casual dress, I must have checked at least 10 stores.
It was after 8 by the time we got home so I threw together a sandwich on an Arnold Thin with some ham, cheese, and spinach. I also snacked on a few leftover cheese curds (I am from Wisconsin and seriously love my cheese!) and some Blue Diamond Almond Crackers which are surprisingly satisfying. I washed it all down with a lemon sparking water.

I packed leftovers for lunch today, some of the Portobello Pasta Salad and the leftover filling from the stuffed peppers. I had a red pepper to enjoy along with the salads. My pre-packed snacks for the day included cucumbers, nectarines and string cheese.

I usually spend an hour or so on Sunday afternoons/early evenings chopping up fruit and veggies for at least half the week so I can just grab the baggies and go in the morning. The more I can do to prep for my week, the better prepared I feel to make healthy decisions for food. It I get stressed and busy I tend to just feel like its ok to grab some fast food. When I don’t eat healthy I end up not feeling great.
I packed a bigger breakfast for this morning so I could really fill up, I have a busy day and may not have time for a morning snack. I had a Chobani Greek Yogurt that was Blueberry Flavored, some cantaloupe and a Cliff Builders Bar in chocolate. I have been looking for a healthier protein bar and think I may have found a good option in the Cliff bar, it was decent tasting and made with 88% organic ingredients and sweetened with cane sugar. It is a good recovery bar after a hard workout.
