I was feeling very reflective today and since summer is quickly winding down I figured it was time for a recap post. Labor Day weekend means a few things in the Twin Cities-
1) Its the unofficial end of summer
2) You need to get to the state fair and eat something on a stick
3) Back to school (most schools don’t start until the day after the holiday)
This summer has been AMAZING and probably the best summer of my 28 years.
Here are just a few of the many things that happened-
A Good Friend From High School Got Married in WI
Had A Big Old Party to Celebrate the Wedding (I didn’t blog about this)
Tried a Local, Farmers Market Dinner
Moved the Blog to Word press
And these are just a few highlights- talk about a summer full of life events!! I am incredible fortunate to have an amazing husband and friends that are always there to support me and help me celebrate.
Here are a few things I am looking forward to this fall-
4 Trips to Madison to watch Badger Football (Mike’s Alma Mater)
The Gopher/Badger Game in the NEW Gopher Stadium (Both our Alma Maters)
Attending an Info Session on a Doctorate Program I am Looking At
The Bin 36 Wine Blending in Chicago
Fun Halloween Parties
San Fran for Food Buzz Blogger Festival
Our Thanksgiving Trip (Potential Locations Include)
- Buenos Aires
- Rio
- London
- Morocco
Maybe Moving (this is a long shot)
What a crazy, amazing, life changing year! I am thankful for everything that I have been able to experience and look forward to what the future may bring.
