Well maybe minus the Ice Cream, I did a taste test tonight for Apple Pie and a new crust. The pie was decent! I still prefer my grandmas but I would definitely buy this in a pinch instead of making a crust from scratch. I do love to bake but rarely find the time (except for Christmas), and I actually don’t like baked goods that much. However baked goods make great gifts! I usually make at least 4-6 different kinds of cookies around Christmas and Chex Mix (which I do enjoy A LOT of).
After the taste test I was craving fall flavors even more so I made a batch of Pumpkin Protein Cookies from Zesty Cooks E-Recipe Book, the recipe was from Megansmuchies.com- these are really tasty!
I also made a big batch of my a Pumpkin Soup that will be featured on an upcoming guest blog post. This is my go-to fall soup and packs a ton of flavor! Stay tuned for the recipe…
Tomorrow I am working from home, there is a maintenance person coming and they gave the window of 10-2, that is almost really inconvenient for a normal working adult!

However, I do love fall and am hoping we still have a nice one and winter doesn’t just show up in October. I tend to crave soup and hearty foods in the fall so I am breaking out the chili. Lunch is Trader Joe’s turkey chili, a few carrots and some veggie chips. A nice hearty lunch for a Monday.
