We had a great time last night at the Spooky Wine Event, everyone got very creative with their Spooky Wine. Here are a few of the labels, we had an Evil, Hallowine, Buzzard, and Sinister Hand:
The spread of food was really good, there was cheese, apples and caramel dip, meatballs, veggies and a few dips. We brought a container of the leftover Chili with mole and noodles, it went over very well! For a little dessert we made Coconut Date Nut Balls which were a variation out of the Clean Food cookbook-
1/4 cup of coconut
1 cup of chopped dried dates
1 1/2 cups of toasted nuts
1/2 cup of Almond Butter
1/2 cup of Maple Syrup.
Mix the dates, almond butter, nuts and syrup in a food processor until smooth, form into little balls between your hands and roll in Coconut. Enjoy!
We woke up at about 8am and lounged for a bit before heading to the gym for cardio and weights. Today I did, 20 minutes on the Stepmill, 10 of rowing for cardio. Weight workout was arms and abs and was:
Preacher Curls (25 lb bar)
Tricep Pull Down (27.5lb)
Cable Curl (27.5lb)
Skull Crusher (15lb)
Hammer Curl (15lb)
Dips (Bodyweight)
Crunches
Bicycle Crunch
Reverse Crunch

I really do live for the weekend, I get to see my husband and get to see friends! This smiling face said goodbye to me this morning as I was heading to the gym:
To start my day out right I am having a Peach Fage and some Purple Grapes.
A wine event and a costume party are just a few of the things we have going on this weekend. I am really looking forward to this evening. We are heading to a Spooky Wine Event, we are tasked with finding a spooking or Halloween Themed Wine. I remember I had bought a Hallowine in Door County Wisconsin when I was there for my Mom’s birthday in August. Hopefully it is good!

I meet with Alicia of Mommy’s Choice Pet Sitting and she was great, Clifford warmed up to her right away. She is going to come let him out over the lunch hour on Monday’s and Wednesday’s since those are the days I workout and it would be a bit too long for him to go without a break. It seems very reasonable and I am relieved that he will be getting great care. I used to love Ritz and Cheese as a kid and when I was searching the pantry for something to eat I remembered I had a sample of vegan and organic crackers. Then I dug through the cheese drawer and found a cheddar that we had purchased at the Ferndale Market and a Manchego. To top all off I grabbed a bit of the worlds best honey, straight from Italy! We brought this back with us from Italy and I have been savoring every ounce of it, it is delicious. I need to find a place to buy this in the U.S.
A Green Monster was calling my name so I grabbed a frozen banana (make sure you freeze them with the peels off), almond milk, 3 big handfuls of baby spinach, and a big scoop of Amazing Grass Pomegranate Peach Mango Amazing Meal. A very tasty Green Monster.
