This weekend was a blur, we barely had time to stop and breath! Saturday we were up early and headed to the Gopher/Badger game at the new stadium. To avoid what was rumored to be horrible traffic and parking we were on campus by 8:45 a.m., we found a place to park for $10 dollars and walked around a bit before heading to meet everyone. Since it was cold and rainy I decided that I needed a new jacket in my school colors (I have to show my support), I found a nice water resistant jacket that kept me pretty warm. I had a long sleeve shirt, a t-shirt, a fleece, a sweatshirt and my new jacket. My upper half was warm but my legs and feet were freezing from being cold and damp. Not a good combo!

We meet everyone at Sally’s around 9:30 and each had a few beers and I had half a brat, my stomach was rumbling and I knew I needed something to hold me through the game. Unfortunately my team lost L but it was still fun to see the new stadium and be outside for football (even though it was about 45 and raining).

After the game we attempted to head back to Sally’s but it was so packed you couldn’t even get in the parking lot area with tents, we opted for Applebee’s and got a nice big booth that we could all fit in. Much better than freezing outside! I had a Sam Adams and a Cheese Quesadilla there and once I could feel my feet again I was in a much better mood
We headed home about 4 and were snuggled on the couch by 5 and in bed by 9- really wild Saturday night!
