But not together
I was craving something breakfasty and we have a ton of quinoa so I started playing in the kitchen and came up with this recipe:
Vanilla Cinnamon Breakfast Mix
1 Cup of Quinoa (rinsed)
1 Cup of Steel Cut Oats
3 Cups of Water
Dash Of Cinnamon
Dash of Vanilla
Handful of Currants
Drizzle of Agave
Mix Quinoa, Oats and 3 cups of water and bring to a boil
Cover, Reduce heat and simmer for about 10-15 minutes
Stir in Cinnamon, Vanilla and Currants and mix together
Serve with a drizzle of agave and a tablespoon of nut or fruit butter
This is delicious! A nice touch of sweetness and very hearty. This is what Clifford did while I was cooking, he was one tired puppy. We went on a 45 minute walk and he was ready for a nap as soon as we got home.

So where does the ice cream come in? I drive by Culvers every single night and I can usually resist but when the sign says Butterfinger Pecan the car suddenly veered to the right and was pulling through the drive through
I was restrained and only got one scoop in a small dish, and it was oh so good. It has been months since I have had a bowl of cold creamy goodness. I have my fill for a while now.

I am cleaning up the kitchen and am heading to bed soon!
What is your favorite ice cream flavor and from where?
