Holy moly I am exhausted! I seriously have not sat down for most of the weekend! It has been non stop since Saturday morning. We went out to babysit Kasey and Griffin last night and played lots of Connect 4, trains, and did a lot of book reading. It was almost 2 by the time we got home last night and we were up by about 7:30.
We took Clifford over to see our friends Cathy and Mike who will be watching him next weekend while we are in the Dells celebrating Mike’s bday, my bday and seeing great friends. Clifford and their dog Kimchi got along very well and I think they will be fine next weekend. After the dog introducing we went and looked at about 10 houses. We ended up finding a new development that we absolutely LOVE. There about a million things that we need to think about. Argh! House hunting and buying is really really stressful. I am about ready to pull out my hair.
This is what tonight involves:
A big ‘ol glass of wine and City of God which is about Rio.
See you tomorrow, when I am much less stressed and hopefully well rested. Please send house selling and buying vibes our way. We need it.
I met up with two of my favorite Minneapolis bloggers today for my first Spinning class every. Erika is definitely a pro and Kate has been a few times but I was feeling a bit anxious. After the 60 minute class I felt so good and I think I found a new class to start trying. It was such a hard workout! After getting cleaned up we headed to have lunch at the Whole Foods Hot Bar, swoon. I love that grocery store. I have a feeling that my legs are going to be sore tomorrow.
I grabbed a cup of Chicken Wild Rice Soup, a hearty salad, an Honest Tea and a bag of Sweet Onion Kettle Chips. It was a very tasty lunch and even better company. I love these girls! It is so nice to just sit down and start chatting because we know the basics about each other already. So much fun making new friends!
Mike and I are headed to babysit his niece and nephew and hopefully have a quiet evening after they go to bed. I know lots of game playing will be in our future, probably some candyland and legos.
I woke up thinking about Toast and Tea on this very cold morning. It was -11 when I left the house with a -20 wind chill. BRRR! Thankfully traffic was light today and it took me about 15 minutes- loving the short commute
I had grabbed 2 Whole Wheat English muffins and put them in the toaster at work, unfortunately the toaster literally ate half of one and I had to use a fork to get it out. So I had 3 small halves with some Sunbutter that Amy had sent me and a big cup of Trader Joe’s Candy Cane Green Tea. I am off to get through my huge to do list.

Something to make you laugh on a Friday morning, Mike sent me this article about Pork spicing up your sex life. Believable? I have no idea but why not try it
Tonight is flying by, I get home from work and Mike got back from DC and we got to packing and taking all of our personal stuff off the walls and out of bookshelves. It is going to be a long few months (and lets just hope its months) of keeping this place spotless and looking like no one lives here. We have a storage unit rented and will take a few trips there over the weekend to store boxes, art, and miscellaneous furniture. I have spent about 6 hours this week cleaning, packing and doing other various house things. Send good house selling vibes our way, we need it!
We ordered Davani’s, our favorite local pizza, and kept packing until the pizza arrived and we dove in and watched Iron Chef America since it had a local Minneapolis chef. Yum to pizza
Off to pack more…
