I had a dinner this evening with a few girlfriends at Bar La Grassa in Minneapolis. This place is fabulous! It just won restaurant of the year by the Star Tribune. There were 5 of us for dinner and we each had something different for a starter (those who had one) and an main entree. Excuse the flash it was very dark in the restaurant. We did have a Foodie Celebrity Sighting Andrew Zimmern of The Travel Channel Bizarre Foods
Anne had the Soft Eggs and Lobster Bruschetta to start and Orchiette with Braised Rabbit for her main.
Rachelle had Taleggio Brigne with Braised Apples and Silk Hankerchiefs with Basil Pesto

Rachel had the Apple and Prosciutto salad to start and Gnocchi with Cauliflower and Orange.

Tiff had the Bucatine

While I had the Penne with Shrimp and Vin Santo and some Farro with Gorgonzola for a side.

I woke up craving Peanut Butter Toast and I knew that was in store after my workout this morning. I went to a smaller location of the gym I belong that is really close to our house. I only visit this location a few times a year but it is super close but very very small. This location doesn’t have classes, the locker rooms are tiny and the free weight area is pretty limited. But… it did its job this morning. I got in 30 minutes of cardio on the robot looking Elliptical and did Week 2 of Fitnessista’s Circuit Workout. I was pretty tired after.
I got home and did a few more minor pick-ups and re-organized our master closet. All of the purses were on the floor and now they are organized by color across the top of the rack. Not sure if this is preferred but I think it looks better. By 7:30am I was starving and grabbed 2 slices of Hemp Bread out of the freezer, toasted them and added some almond butter. I cut up an apple and even shared a few slices with Clifford. He LOVES apples and will follow me until I give him one. A cup of Tazo Berryblossom White rounded out a pretty darn good breakfast.

I am doing some email cleanup and ordering a few things for work and waiting for the Stager to get here at 10am. Clifford and I are playing lots of fetch as well, he is officially obsessed with fetch. He will hit you with said object until you throw it. Today is was a fuzzy ball that he would drop by my feet until I threw it.
