Giapponese Sushi

I met my friend Jess for sushi at Giapponese Sushi this evening for happy hour and a quick dinner. It has been a few months since I had seen her and it was great to catch up. Giapponese has a really great happy hour- $4 Saketini’s, rolls and great prices on Salmon and Tuna Nigiri.

I started with a pomegranate Saketini and Pork Gyoza as a starter, both were excellent!

For dinner I ordered Tuna and Salmon Nigiri and a Salmon and Avocado roll. While the prices were right I didn’t love the quality of the fish. I am a Sushi snob and this was ok, just not great.

I would go back for Happy Hour but I don’t know if I would do a full dinner there. The prices were great- our dinner, appetizers and drinks were only $40!
