Oh Nordstrom Rack, how I love thee… I always find great deals on products that I love! I could wonder for hours in there checking out clothes, shoes, and purses and that is exactly what I did tonight. Since it had been snowing all day I headed over to the Mall of America to waste a few hours and hopefully let traffic die down. I left work about 4:50 and wondered around the mall until 6:30. My shopping included- Nordstrom Rack, Sephora, and Le Gourmet Chef. Sephora has a Birthday Gift for the Beauty Insiders, I love free products!
At the Rack I bought a new pair of tennis shoes, 2 dresses, a pair of leggings, and a pink turtleneck. All for about $130. Such great deals and I love that there is no sales tax on clothing here in MN. It really adds up in savings.
After the Rack I headed to Le Gourmet Chef to exchange a birthday gift that Mike had gotten me that we already had. Instead of the stainless steel fry pan I bought a tea kettle, pineapple loose leaf green tea, a green tea sampler pack and an infuser travel mug. The pineapple green tea is calling my name, I can’t wait to try it.

Spending time at the mall really helped with traffic, it only took me 40 minutes to get home instead of the two hours that had been predicted by the transportation service.
What is your favorite store? What is the best deal you have ever gotten?
I turned 29 at 7:35 this morning, so far I am liking 29
I don’t want to make a list of 29 things but I do want to acheive the following-
1) Sell the house!
2) Move
3) Take a few trips- we are undecided on the spring trip, have a few Chicago trips planned and a Spain/Portugal trip planned for Thanksgiving.
4) Get better at Yoga
5) Try new workout classes at my gym
6) Continue meeting new people through The Little Black Dress Club, the wine group and The Couples Group we run.
7) Cook something every week, we have been so busy lately we haven’t had a ton of time to cook and I want to get back to that.
Mike left for San Fran early this morning and the alarm went off at 4:40am. Very early! I layed in bed staying warm for a while longer and then headed to the gym for my new workout plan. I did 20 minutes of Intervals and an Arms/Abs workout and then headed into work. Over night we got about 3 inches of snow and are expecting another 3-4 inches throughout the day so the commute this morning was quite painful and I am expecting an even worse one this evening. I may camp out at the Mall of America for a bit after work to let traffic improve. Mike got me a Tumi Laptop Sleeve that fits my laptop perfectly. It is very cool

He also got a nice big Stainless Steel Pan for me, but it is something we already have. So I will exchange it for something else- just not sure what else. Any sort of kitchen appliance that you just can’t live without??
