It’s Not Easy Being Green

By random chance everything in my lunch today happens to be GREEN. I have a huge salad with mixed greens, broccoli slaw, goat cheese, carrots, broccoli, and the leftover dressing from the Green Apple Carpaccio. On the side baggies of cucumbers, broccoli and a green apple.Today has been a day of lots of GREEN and I love it and feel full of energy.


Even though I am full of energy I had an off morning- I grabbed the wrong color pants today so I am wearing navy with black which I do not do.  I know its an ok fashion rule to break but I just don’t like to and I feel like it looks funny. The 2nd Snafu of the day was grabbing hair spray instread of my normal shampoo for the shower this morning at the gym, so now I feel like my hair looks gross. I know it doesn’t but that set me off on a weird routine and I am a VERY routine driven person. I get up at the same time (depending on gym or not) and have my morning down to about 25 minutes from wake up to out the door.

I am leaving work in a few minutes to go do my taxes, such fun. But hopefully it is a nice refund!

I prepped this post and my Chocolate Covered Cherry Green Monster before bed last night. Since I am heading to the gym I wanted to make sure I had a ready made protein shake to drink after my workout. Insert this amazing concoction for a great after workout shake and breakfast. This mornings Green Monster consists of frozen bananas and cherries, spinach, almond milk, 1 packet of Amazing Grass Wheat Grass, and 2 scoops of Chocolate Caramel Protein Powder. It takes just like a healthier version of a Chocolate Covered Cherry.
