Friday night we attended an Olympic themed wine event, put on by the wine club we belong to. Our wine club has been such a great experience, we have tried amazing wines, had good food and made some really great friends. Carol was nice enough to reserve her HUGE party room in her condo building. This place has been used for wedding receptions, it has 3 levels, a full on kitchen, bar area, couches and plenty of tables to sit at.
There were about 40 people in attendance and everyone brought a food and wine from their chosen athletes country. We picked French athletes so I made the Mushroom and Fontina Quiche and we stopped to pick up some French cheese. There was lots of cheese, Italian meats, various chips and dip and even homemade empanadas. Everyone went all out!
After mingling and talking with everyone there we played Olympic trivia and I ended up wining 2nd place thanks to a great team!

As usual we were one of the last to leave because we were having so much fun, but it was way past my bed time 
We got home around midnight and went straight to bed.
