Out of Place

Since Mike is flying out this evening I met him for happy hour and to go over some paperwork. Apparently today is International Margarita day (who knew?) so I had a strawberry one on the rocks and ate about a 1/4 of a California Club. I stopped at Home Depot on the way home to look at paint samples, undermount sinks, snow blowers and lawnmowers. Such exciting things ;) I had no fewer than 4 employees come up to me and ask if I needed assistance. Think I looked out of place there ;) Plans for this evening include looking through about 30 paint samples and thinking about how we may decorate and furnish this much larger place.

House Update

February 22, 2010

Wanted to give a quick update on the house situation, we made an offer and signed a purchase agreement yesterday! I will not post any identifying pictures until we are closed, I do not want to jinx it or take any chances just in case.

Today we are getting the mortgage figured out, trying to make sure all of our ducks are in a row and contacting movers for quotes. But… I do want your recommendations on favorite paint colors.

What is your favorite color and brand of paint? Any decorating advice? Any tips on where to find deals on furniture?
