I haven’t said much on the blog but my Step-Grandpa was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer last week and they got an appointment at the Mayo clinic and had surgery scheduled yesterday. The surgery went well, they removed his gallblader and part of his pancreas.
The surgery took about 10 hours and we will not know more results until later today when the pathology report comes in. So in the meantime please send your thoughts and prayers to him. He needs it, my step dad needs it and I need it. I am getting to the age where it feels like my grandparents are not as healthy as they once were. On my Mom’s side they have both passed away within the past 4 years, and now my Step-Dad’s side with cancer. Thankfully I still have both of my Dad’s parents.
Depending on how he is feeling this evening I may head down to Mayo to visit.

I will definitely be praying for you, your grandfather, and your family! Luckily he is in great hands at Mayo, and I know they will do whatever they can for him!
