Today has been spent watching lots of basketball- my Gopher got beat for the Big Ten Championship but did still make it into the NCAA Tournament. I need to get my brackets going! Besides basketball watching I did a lot of reading- I finished The Weight of Silence for my book club on Tuesday night, It is about 2 girls who go missing in the woods near their house and how it impacts their families. This was a powerful book and it really made you understand what the families were feeling.

In an attempt to eat something after last nights shenanigans I opted for some nuts, apple and a bit of cheddar cheese.

It has taken me awhile to get this post up, at almost 6pm I am finally feeling back to normal.
We had a little too much fun last night and I made the mistake of mixing champagne and wine so I had a major headache this morning. Lesson learned! Even though I am feeling the after effects today we had such a great time last night. There were 16 of us and we took St. Paul by storm. We started the evening at Lori’s for appetizers and wine.
The limo arrived around 7:30 and we headed to The Lexington, a group of 16 dressed up woman certainly turn a few heads. We enjoyed our wine and good conversation and then headed to Mancini’s for dancing and other shenanigans. We had the most fun just driving around in the limo and laughing and enjoying our champagne.
I already can’t wait until next year!
