Tonight makes the first evening of a new book club, I am excited to meet 10 new women and even more excited to talk about a book I really liked! I have tried a few book clubs and have not found one that had exactly what I was looking for and was not a 30 min plus drive. We are meeting at a Dunn Brothers that has a huge fireplace, comfy chairs and my favorite brand of tea- Might Leaf.
I have had my Kindle for a year this week and wanted to look back and see everything that I have read (its a LONG list, I starred the ones that were free Kindle downloads.) 51 books on my Kindle and probably 10 more in traditional book form.

A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Kite Runner. So good! I loved Water for Elephants and My Sister’s Keeper, too.

I second My Sister’s Keeper and anything Jodi Picoult. The one you already read, Handle with Care, was so good!
Thanks for posting this!!! I’m going to have to look through and see if any of them are of great interest to me. Which ones were your favorites?

Since I’ve been writing an article on food politics, most of the recent books that I’ve read have been on that topic. My favorite though was “What to Eat” by Marion Nestle.
I also love anything by Emily Giffin, Sophie Kinsella, or Jane Green. Those are easy beach/pool reads!
