Mike and I grabbed an early dinner before I planned to drop him off at the airport. Chevy’s was pretty close by and we needed something quick! We split a pick 3 combo with an enchilada, flauta and a chimichanga that I ended up eating about 1/3 of. They give you so much food, the two of us could barely finish it. I have no idea how just 1 person could eat all of that.
After dropping Mike off for his flight I headed home to great the doggies and feed them. Kimchi has just one more day staying with us, I think Clifford may miss his playmate a bit but be excited to nap more during the day. The life of a dog is pretty darn good; napping, eating and bone chewing.
The plan for this evening is to veg on the couch for a bit and watch Up, I has been on my Netflix list for a year and it is OnDemand and I figured what better time than tonight when I have the couch to myself and a quiet house. Minus the playing and occasionally barking dogs.

Sleep seemed to evade me last night, I tossed and turned lots, listened to cars drive by, watched the dogs adjust, and even tried counting backwards. Nothing worked. Boo! When the alarm went off at 5:30 I decided to try to go back to bed instead of to the gym. I did manage to fall back asleep for a little bit but I am feeling pretty groggy today.
I was planning on heading to happy hour tonight but since Mike is flying out this evening I don’t want to leave the dogs all day and all night so I will have a nice evening ALONE! I am actually excited about this J I got so used to Mike being gone Monday-Thursday I had my own schedule going and it has been a few months since I had a night to myself and I am going to enjoy it. The plan is to make dinner, do some picking up around the house, give myself a manicure and pedicure and head to bed early. I think I can get it all in! Work day go fast, I want some time to myself.
Breakfast this morning was a Toffee Buzz Cliff Bar and a cup of Coconut Chai tea. A nice way to start a dreary cool day.
