Last time I was at Pardon My French I noticed that pets were welcome on the patio and I figured Clifford would love that! People watching, crumbs and being outside. There isn’t much better for a dog.
We started out with flights of wine, Mine was the Red Tour De France that had a Bouchard Bourgogne Pinot Noir from the Burgundy region, a Pierre Gaillard Syrah from Northern Rhone and a Mas de Gourgonnier Grenache and Cabernet from Provence in southern France. My favorite wine was the Grenache and Cabernet mix, it had nice flavor and a beautiful deep red color. Mike had the Red Bourdeaux flight that featured Tour des Grendes Merlot from Bergerac (this was was NOT good), a Chataue Recougne Cabernet Sauvignon from Bordeaux and a Domaine Peyrie Malbec from the Cahors region in the Southwest of France. There was one wine in each of flights that neither of us was a fan of but on the other side the was the glass that we thought was worth paying for!
For food, I had the omelet of the day and a side of wild rice soup while Mike ordered the burger on a tomato basil roll with fries. I think Mike’s was better, and I rarely have order envy
