On the way to the Mystery Party on Saturday evening we stopped at a wine bar and pub that we had heard good things about. Since we don’t usually get to the northern ‘burbs of Minneapolis it warranted a stop. Bricks recently opened and features unique beers and wine, brick oven pizzas and a few burgers.
We grabbed seats at the bar, perused the menu and decided on a Greek Pizza with feta, balsamic, red onion, and kalamata olives. Really tasty but it was a fork and knife kind of pizza since the crust was so thin.
Mike had an Italian Burger with a trio of Italian meats and fries with fresh dill over the top. Neither of us had ever thought to put dill on the fries and it smells heavenly and gives a nice fresh flavor.

Overall thoughts: Unique concept for the ‘burbs, hopefully they can last and provide some options besides a chain and your typical tap beers and house wine.

Yum. I hope they last too. I grew up in a rural area, and now going back its such a bummer to have to choose between Red Robin, Olive Garden or Outback for dinner. Those unique, charming little bistros are the best. I’m sure they use more fresh, high quality ingredients also.
