Last nights wine event was a lot of fun! It was the perfect summer evening to outside in a great backyard and we tried some really unique wines. A small but fun group with lots of delicious appetizers and great conversation. 11pm snuck up on us and we figured it was time to call it a night.
We brought the winning wine, the Meritage from Willam Knuttle, it was described as fruity, smooth and very velvety. It retails for about $19 a bottle and everyone really enjoyed it. We are thinking about buying a whole case of it we liked it so much. Julie and Scott have the perfect backyard to host in, lots of places to sit around the fire, fun decorations and lots of space for us all to wander around.
I am already looking forward to the next event for this group!
