I met my friend Dawn for dinner tonight to catch up and just chat, it was a good girls night out! We met at Bar Abilene in Uptown for some good Tex Mex inspired food. I started with a Hibisucus Margarita while waiting for Dawn to arrive and then we knew we needed some tableside made guac and chips. This guca rivals Barrio.
Since we knew we couldn’t just have margaritas and guac we decided to split a salad with steak, queso fresco, avocado, onions and grapes. Pretty darn tasty 
It is nice to meet a girlfriend for a night out in the middle of the week. Our evening began with us sitting outside but by about 6:45 we knew we needed to move inside. It was a bit chilly, fall is definitely near.
