Tina had a great post today about loving others and how it truly make you a happier person. I couldn’t agree more! I truly feel blessed to have such a great group of people to love in my life- friends, family, Mike and even Clifford. I look forward to catching up with people and even more finding out what is going on in their lives.
Loving is not always the easiest task and there are definite challenges to putting your heart out there but the rewards you get back are worth it. One of my favorite quotes about friendship is by Paul Aubuchon
“To be capable of steady friendship or lasting love, are the two greatest proofs, not only of goodness of heart, but of strength of mind.”

Loving others is the best way to love yourself!
Last night I finally get to meet Mo of Mommy Rd, she and I have been blog friends for the past year and we got the chance to meet in real life. Mo was in town to visit her parents who live near the Twin Cities so we figured it would be a chance to meet up over some wine and appetizers.
I met Mo and her husband Scott at Enjoy in Apple Valley for wine and chat. The great thing about meeting blog friends in real life is you already know so much about them and can pick up with normal conversation right away. We talked wine, travel, dogs, jobs and all about her beautiful little girl Ava. We split appetizers of ahi tuna, mushroom flatbread and scallops and all three were pretty good but the mushroom flatbread was my favorite. It had a crisp crust, melted boursin cheese and a sherry aioli that all three of us really enjoyed.
My friend Bridget ended up joining us and we all hung out talking until 9:30ish, it was a really nice night out with friends and I hope I get to visit Mo sometime in Phoenix!
