Last night before heading to a comedy club with our couples group we stopped at I Nonni in Lilydale for a quick meal at their bar. Now I Nonni is normally a special occasion restaurant but the have a really good bar menu and you can get the whole restaurant menu as well. The last time we were there was to celebrate Mike’s new job and had an amazing meal. Last nights wasn’t quite that special but it was good.
We had a glass of red and then split a spicy Italian Sausage pizza and some bucatini which had lamb guanciale, tomato, chile and pecorino. Both were delicious and our plates were basically licked clean!
I need to remember to visit their bar more often, great food and wine!
