I had been getting a bit board with my normal greek yogurt breakfast and wanted to add more flavor. Because of the three rounds of antibiotics that I have been on I need to eat at least two cups of yogurt a day to build the good bacteria back up in my stomach and I am just getting board with it! Granola is a good way to add a little extra flavor into my dairy requirement. I love that there are so many options to make granola exactly what you want.
Ingredients
4 cups Old Fashioned Oats
1 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 package dried cranberries
Pinch Salt
Directions
Preheat over to 300 degrees. In a large bowl mix together oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, vegetable oil, maple syrup, salt and cranberries.
Spread out onto a large cookie sheet covered in parchment paper or a silpat (one of my favorite baking tools!). Bake for 20, stirring after 10.
Cool and store in an airtight container.

Reading other blogs, I truly love the sense of community among bloggers and love to hear great news. Congrats to Tina on the new addition to their family! I am amazed at how much support is shown to one another. The emails I have received have made things so much better.

I love granola!!!!! I’ve yet to make my own. I’m just scared that I would eat it all in one day.

LOVE granola, but have never tried to make it myself. Now, I just might. Hope you are having a great week.

My Dad usually makes his own granola and makes a HUGE batch, like bags and bags of it. He also literally throws in any cereal that they have at home
