Spending an hour outside shoveling snow and snowblowing is a pretty good workout! I had a good sweat going even though I had a hat, scarf, big parka, snowpants, and boots on. It reminded me of being a kid and getting all bundled up and then realizing you had to go to the bathroom and got all undressed and then redressed. I looked pretty hilarious in all my layers. It was all about function versus fashion.
The Twin Cities got about 16 inches of snow and have a few more coming this morning yet so the plows haven’t been out on all the side road yet. The roommate and I spent dug out the driveway and my car that you could barely see and of course had to make a path for the dogs to go outside. The snow was over Clifford! Yesterday morning this deck had just a bit of snow on it and now it is over Clifford.
So today is all about working from home! I am not going to risk getting stuck when I have internet and a VPN connection here. Clifford, Tuscany and I are curled up on the couch with the radio on, logged into work and a big cup of Chocolate Mint Truffle tea. He looks pretty cute after shaking off all that snow!
