Red Stag Supper Club

To celebrate a new job (not for me) we headed to Red Stag Supper Club on Tuesday night for a nice dinner. We were surprised at how busy it was and then realized it was Cheap Date night, and for $32 you got 2 entrees, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine. That’s a good deal! The entrees that evening weren’t really what either of us were craving so we passed on the date night deal and got salads and entrees of the regular menu.

I started with an endive salad that had gorgonzola, apples and balsamic vinaigrette. It was delicious! I had forgotten how much I liked endive, it has a nice light flavor and good crunch.

A beet salad was the other option and I had a few bites and think I have finally taught myself to like beets. Pretty darn exciting!

I was in the mood for a burger and fries and found a grass fed burger and added white cheddar and caramelized onions. This burger was amazing! Cooked perfectly to medium rare and on a nice fresh bun. I only ate about half since the portions were so huge. But I will say that this was one delicious burger.

Keeping on theme with meat, a steak with potatoes and vegetables. I didn’t even get to try a bite. I looked up from my burger and the steak has been polished off. Judging by how quickly it was eaten I am guessing it was pretty darn good

This was the second time that I had been to Red Stag and I really enjoyed it. I love that they have complimentary sparking water and their menu is really unique. Both times I have been the service has been very good.

I think next time I go I will try the Cheap Date night since it is such a great deal!
