Jimmy’s Food and Cocktails

There is something really fun about the first week on a job, lots of people to go to lunch with! The place of choice? Jimmy’s Food and Cocktails. The other really nice things about the first week? Everyone already knows I am a food blogger! So I can take pictures without having to sneak it

Jimmy’s has the classic, big leather menus that you feel like you are reading a book, a beautiful hand painted mural on the wall and servers who are true servers. We were seated quickly, our server went over specials right away and we had our food within a few minutes. Very important for the work lunch!

I opted for a soup/salad combo with an applewood smoked BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato and avocado) with a cup of the Booya on the side. Just a bit of spice in the booya and the bacon was nice and peppery and smoky. Yum! An Arnold Palmer on the side to remind me that summer is almost near.
