Where do you head for dinner while in Dallas? Out for some authentic upscale Mexican food. Margariatas? Check. Mole? Check. A great night out with my new co-workers? Check. Most of my professional life has been spent working for manufacturing companies so the majority of my co-workers are men. I am used to being the only woman at dinner. This was no different in Dallas. It was me and five guys. Thankfully they all welcomed me with open arms and were cool with the food blogger side of me taking picture.

What is even better about new co-workers is that most of them are foodies! No one wanted to go to a chain restaurant and we were able to go somewhere a little more unique. I was one happy girl!

Starting out with a Pomegranate Margarita, a bit tart, a bit sweet and a really nice way to end a long day

With a table of  six we neededsome appetizers to start out, guacamole, queso dip and ceviche. The ceviche was my favorite by far, great fresh seafood with cilantro and lime.

There were so many choices for entree’s that I had a really hard time deciding. I ended up getting a combination enchilada platter that had mole, chicken and a tomatillo version. I only ate about a 1/4 of this plate but they were all delicious.

We had amazing service, our waiter had an incredible memory, kept checking back with us and even made recommendations on other places to try in the area. I would go back to Cantina Laredo if I was in the Dallas area again.
