We have been having unseasonably cold weather this Spring, it was only in the low 40’s and it’s May. Seriously. What is up with this place? Remind me why I live in Minnesota? Grrr.
When it is so cold I crave warm comfort food and Quang is the best place to get a huge bowl of pho and warm up. After visiting the Art in Bloom Exhibit at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts we were in need of warmth. A two block walk from the Institute to the parking spot and we were soaked. Rainy, wet and cold is so not a good combination. I couldn’t wait to be warmed up!
The must have’s at Quang: Spring rolls, bubble tea, vermicelli salad and pho. It is enough to feed a table of four to five, not two.
The service was pretty slow, but the place was packed at 2pm on a Saturday and the was not enough wait stuff. Fortunately once we got our order in the food was out very quickly.
Quang is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the Twin Cities and I know I will consistently be back for a big bowl of Pho and awesome people watching. There is something about sitting in a jam packed restaurant full of every kind of people you can imagine with people who love food just as much as you do. If it wasn’t good it wouldn’t be packed full of people.

Is Quang different than Quang’s? I’m confused. Too many pho options!! (Although I would never complain about that!)
It is the one on Eat Street in Minneapolis, I think there is only one. I have seen it both with and without an “S”.
