Steakhouse at Home

I love a good steak but I am not a fan of the big prices you pay out for a steak. So we opted to make our own steakhouse dinner at home on Friday night. A few sirloin steaks and some venison that the significant other had caught and butchered himself. You don’t get much more fresh than meat that someone has hunted, cleaned and froze the same day. How’s that for local Winking smile

 

While cooking and prepping we had bloody mary’s, a little spicy with a bit of worcestshire and Frank’s Red Hot.

A salad with mixed greens, peapods, peppers, pepitas, goat cheese and Trader Joe’s Goddess dressing.

A piece of venison and a piece of steak and some asparagus all grilled and prepared with herbed salt.
