Some wine drinkers scoff at the idea of a fruit wine but they can be surprisingly good, especially on a hot summer day sitting out on a deck. But what wine wouldn’t be good sitting out on a deck? Fruit Wine is a fermented beverage made from fruit, flowers, herbs and even vegetables. It is very popular among home winemakers and in wineries in the Northern part of the U.S. since grapes can be difficult to grow in a cold climate.

It doesn’t always need to be fancy or unique. Just open a bottle of something fun and enjoy the evening (or afternoon if that is how you roll
