Usually on a Sunday night I love to make a big meal, open a bottle of wine and curl up on the couch and do a little relaxing before a big week. Not this past Sunday. I saw Parma tweet about their Sunday Night Date Night menu and it sounded so delicious. The $50 dollars for a bottle of wine, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees and 2 desserts was pretty convincing too. Thankfully we were able to snag two seats on the beautiful patio at Parma and enjoy dining Al Fresco, nice big tables and comfortable chairs, an outdoor fireplace and a pool table. It was a perfect Minnesota summer evening.

You got to choose between a red, white or sparkling wine and no big surprise our choice was the red. A Chianti, nothing really all the special but it was a glass of wine outside on a Sunday evening. I’ll take it.

Salads to start, the Parma salad for me and the Apple and Gorgonzola salad for him. They were ok. Not great. But it was fresh greens and I always like a salad with my meal. A little cheesy bread doesn’t hurt either

There were four entrees to choose from, the pasta with a pork ragu for me and hanger steak for him. Parma picked entrees that were cost friendly for them to make but would be interesting dinner choices for the customer. I got two and half meals out of my pasta!

Best part of the meal? Dessert. No question there! A rich chocolate soufflé that I only ate about 1/4 of since it was so rich and salted caramel ice cream. The ice cream was so delicious, perfect combo of salty/sweet
