Since Summer is officially upon us, I figured it is a full white wine season. Surprisingly I have noticed that I am starting to like white wine a lot more. Yeah! This is an improvement.
Today’s wine, a Sauvignon Blanc Chenin Blanc mix. Chenin Blanc is a white grape grown in the Loire Valley. it is sweet but high in acid with a fruity palate. I picked a 2005 Chamarre from France. Retailing for $10.99 it is a very drinkable everyday wine. Not too expensive and with enough complexity to pair well with food.
Perfect for a grilled summer dinner of fish, served with fruit or just enjoyed on a beautiful evening outside.
Now you really shouldn’t pick a wine based on the label but this one is really pretty!

i ALWAYS pick a wine by the label!
well and the price. a fun label and under $10 is a winner is my book!
