Today I am thankful for a great Vet, one who acted quickly and helped save Clifford. They were able to save Clifford’s eye and at least some vision! He does have a scratch on his cornea so we have one more round of eye drops and one more day with the cone.

I am so excited to take that cone off tomorrow and get him outside for a nice long walk! Yeah for having an almost back to normal Clifford.
An email that says we would like to send you some wine? Why would I say no to that? I’m not crazy (well, maybe just a little bit) and I love wine. It is a good match if you ask me.
They sent me a 2008 Graffigna Centanario Malbec, it is recommended that you chill the wine to 60 degrees and serve. Pairing recommendations were lamb, grilled beef, pasta with a bolognese sauce, duck with olives.

I liked the simplicity of the label, clean and modern really appeal to me. Winemakers should never underestimated the power of a pretty label!

I chilled the wine for a few minutes, used my handy Rabbit aerator (I love how you can still see the remnants of the legs from aerating on the side of the glass).

This Malbec had really nice dark fruit flavors with notes of black pepper. It retails for $9-$11 and is a great everyday kind of wine. I would definitely purchase this by myself.
