Weights Circuit

Having a week full of meetings makes it a bit difficult to workout and then add in the fact that I couldn’t wear shoes or socks that covered the tattoo until today. I had 6 days off from working out. It felt good, I appreciate the rest but… I was so ready to get back in the gym this morning!

 

I had an off site meeting about 40 minutes from my house and went to a Lifetime that I have only been to one other time. It was a nice change of scenery, I got to check out some different cardio equipment and busted out a weights circuit since I had limited time.

 

Here is my favorite weight’s circuit for when you are limited on time, I can get this done in about 20 minutes and add in 25 min of intervals and you have a pretty booty kicking workout.

 

Do 1 set of each exercise, doing all the exercises in the series. Rest for 1 minute. Repeat circuit 2 0r 3 times.

 

Wide Stance Dumbbell Row- 15

Seated Bicycle- 30 seconds worth

Jumping Opposites, get a good jump going with your right elbow to your left knee. Switch sides. 15 each side

Dumbbell Chest Press- 15

Front Squat with Bicep Curl- 15

Lunge with Tricep Extension- 15

Plank- 30 seconds

 

 

I usually do this 2 times but threw in a third this morning since I had a few days off. The aftermath? One big sweaty, tired mess. Love that feeling!
