Grilled cheese sandwiches are still one of my favorite foods at age 30, I think it has been in the running for 25+ years, pretty good run if you ask me. Now I will always love the classic but changing it up and adding new flavors make a great sandwich even better.
I made the classic grilled cheese even better by adding ham, prosciutto, pear and arugula. All flavors I love!
Grilled Ham, Prosciutto and Pear Sandwiches
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2
Ingredients
4 Slices Vienna Bread
1 ounce prosciutto
1 ounce deli ham
4 slices provolone or gruyere cheese
1 bartlett pear, thinly sliced
2 large handfuls arugula
4 tbsp olive oil
Directions
Brush both sides of all pieces of bread with olive oil.
Layer prosciutto, ham, provolone, pear, and arugula on the bread.
In a large nonstick skillet place sandwiches and cook until each side is golden brown. Take a spatula and press the sandwich down to get each side a bit crispier.
Nothing better than a grilled cheese
One of those foods that just makes me happy and one of the rare times that I eat white bread. Remember everything in moderation!
The next best discovery? Dr. Pepper 10. Even better than Diet Dr Pepper, it only has 10 calories. It’s my lunch time tradition, I look forward to my one a day. Just one and I enjoy every sip of it.

I LOVE this new dr pepper! I don’t love pop, but this has been my guilty pleasure lately.
I love sandwiches, and this one looks amazing! I’ve never seen the dr pepper 10. But I have noticed that the midwest gets new foods/drinks sooner than we do in AZ.
I love grilled sandwiches! This combination sounds killer
