A few weeks ago Scott and I were hanging out at Swirl Wine Bar a few weeks ago and one of the wines of the week was a $12.99 Cotes du Rhone. A spicy French red that perfect to sit inside near a roaring fire place and slowly sip a glass.
Cotes du Rhone is a both a wine region of France as well as a type of wine. It is typically a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. A heavy red that I typically associate with Winter and it just so happens to be one of my favorites.
I like wine that is full bodied and leaves noticeable legs on a glass. Something about that says curl up with me and get cozy.

Yum. I’d like to just grab that bottle and hightail it outta there!
Nice!
I like this one too – nice full bodied, and a bit spicy. Good price too!
