Baked Brie

April 12, 2012

I am a Wisconsin girl through and through (except for my dislike of the Badgers, I can’t cheer for them when I went to the University of Minnesota) and nothing makes me happier than cheese. Pretty much any kind of cheese but I just so happened to find a Wisconsin Brie and you can bet I bought that.

I found that brie at a wine tasting for a local liquor store and I just so happened to walk by a shelf and came across a brie baker. 100% a unitasking tool but it was so cute, on sale and I knew that it would make cleaning up that cookie sheet after baking brie so much easier. Into the cart it went.

Baking brie isn’t really a recipe, it involves 4 steps and out comes this warm, gooey, jam topped goodness. I served it with some apricot jam, herb crackers, almonds, and a cracker black pepper salami. And a glass of Grenache.

Preheat oven to 350

Unwrap and slice top off of brie

Place in brie baker and put in the oven for 15 minutes

Remove and top with jam or honey of  your choice
