Saturday was a day full of laughter, wine, swimming, and a few drunken cherries. Scott and I had our bachelor/bachelorette parties and did activities during the day and then we all met up for the evening at a lake house. We had a blast! It was exactly what we wanted, no cheesy activities or penis related items. Instead we started the morning with manicures and pedicures, headed to a winery and then for lunch and bloody mary’s. It was pretty darn fun!
My maid of honor Jess and I did some prep on Friday night by making drunken cherries. Deliciously addicting. We pitted 3 pounds, soaked them in marshmallow vodka and let them soak overnight. My Oxo pitter came in handy, worth every penny for the time savings of pitting all of these!
Drunken Cherries
Ingredients
3 pounds cherries, pitted
Marshmallow or fun flavored vodka
Ziplock Bags
Directions
Add cherries to a few ziplock bags and pour vodka over them until they are fully covered. Let sit overnight and enjoy the next day with club soda, gingerale, or even just plain!
Pictures from the day…
Insert inappropriate meat stick joke
Finally meeting up with the guys for dinner before heading to the lake house
It was a great day, time spent with my girlfriends and we all had so much fun swimming and playing games at the lake house. Such a blast!

What a fun weekend! Glad you enjoyed it sans cheesiness!
Looks like you had a blast. Wish I could have been there, but I will definitely have to try the drunken cherries to taste some of what I missed out on. Can’t wait until the big day as I’m sure it will be just as much fun for both of you.
