I think the standard is to have one red and one white at a wedding. It usually is sub par quality and maybe a few people drink it. Not at my wedding. There will be amazing wine that we are so excited to share with everyone.
At least two of the tables are full of good wine drinkers and I know how much they will appreciate variety and some unique and interesting wines. I will let you know how they go over with everyone!

And some good local beer as well. We do have family members who prefer cans, so we were nice and granted their request for Bud Light and Mich Golden Light. I can promise that Scott and I won’t be drinking that…

Our families are all from Wisconsin, so they wanted Miller Lite, but D’Amico didn’t offer it so they had to have Mich Golden if they wanted gross beer.
I’m pretty sure they both taste the same, so I don’t think anyone was that upset…
we don’t have a whole lot of wine drinkers in our families, so we went with the standard wines offered by our venue (i agree – boring & subpar), but i put my foot down with the beer. some people (our parents, cough cough) wanted just bud and miller lite. not happening with me. we had both of those choices, but i also picked some new glarus beers to offer. and of course they were the ones we ran out of!
