McCormick Gourmet Recipe Mixes

September 6, 2012

In our house we are all about quick and easy for weeknight meals. With 2 busy jobs, 2 dogs and just living our life I look for things to elevate those weeknight meals. McCormick just came out with their new Spiced Mixes that have the recipe printed right on the back. This kit showed up on a Friday, and I dug right in. Turns out I had everything in the house to make the garlic and White Wine Chicken Scaloppine. Scott was a big fan and it made just enough leftovers for an extra lunch and meal for him while I was traveling for work last week.

I would love to try the Creamy Parmesan & Sun Dried Tomato Chicken Penne.

It has three of my favorite things, penne, parmesan and tomatos.

These would be perfect for a nice and easy week night meal. I think they all sound fantastic but would really want to try the Parmesan and sundries tomato variety first.

Definitely the Bourbon Spiced Pork with Sweet Potatoes & Apples! First of all, we LOVE the combination of pork and apples and since fall is right around the corner, what could be better than sweet potatoes? Plus you can’t go wrong with Bourbon!

I would love to try the Bourbon pork with Sweet potatoes and apples. These spice combos could be a great way to add some spice into a meal without commiting to a whole jar of something. You get to sample and keep your spices fresh. Great way to change it up one night!

For me, it would definitely be Herbs de Provence Roasted Chicken & Potatoes! I picked up a huge bag of Herbs de Provence in France a few years ago and would put them in everything if I could!
