I’ve had a really busy week, work has been crazy, we have had lots of commitments and workouts have been a big priority! Scott bought a Groupon to Core Power Yoga so he has been joining me in the mornings for a 6am class and for some Best Body Bootcamp workouts. I love when we get to workout together. And I love that he understands why yoga sculpt is such an awesome workout, I always describe it as a heated yoga bootcamp with weights. I usually burn at least 600 calories in it.
Sunday: C2 and Best Body Bootcamp
Monday: Hot Yoga Express
Tuesday: Best Body Bootcamp
Wednesday: Yoga Sculpt and Fitness Glo Workout at home
Thursday: Yoga Sculpt
Friday: I took a much needed a day off, although I did get a walk in with the dogs on snowy roads this morning
Saturday: Hot Yoga Express and a Best Body Bootcamp is planned
A few random thoughts from this week:
Why do women in a 6am class or at the gym that early have makeup on? Do they get up before and put it on and then workout? I don’t understand. I go to the gym to workout and get sweaty, not to look pretty or put together.
How do these women afford 9 different outfits of matching Lulu. I have about 4 pieces and all were found significantly on sale or thrifted.
If I hear one more person from the South complain about how cold it is I just might loose it. Really 30 is cold? Come live in Minneapolis where we had -30 windchills this past week. That is 60 degrees colder and we all still manage to live our lives.
Are women afraid of lifting more than 5 pounds? What do they link will happen? So confused.

ha ha ha. I have asked the same questions . . . especially the make-up to workout. What’s that all about?!? Crazy people. And the Lululemon . . . don’t even get me started with my high school students that own half of the current season’s items. Seriously? I could only wish!!!
Happy Friday!
ha! Love your thoughts. I don’t understand why people get dolled up to workout either….makes absolutely no sense. To me, there are probably there for the wrong reasons:)
I loved taking my Dad (who is an Exercise Physiologist) to Yoga Sculpt. I’m pretty sure he doubted it until he tried it!
I don’t own any Lulu (yet?) purely because I think it is not worth the money. I have been enviously eyeing it, though. LivFit Clothing has really caught my attention and I think it might be my new workout wear addiction.
