My Favorite Guacamole

February 25, 2014

My go to treat is chips and dip. Especially chips and guacamole. I LOVE guacamole and thanks to Cub Foods I now have my new go to recipe. This is even better when avocados are on sale, you can spice this up if you want it hot or take it down a notch for those friends who have taste buds that can’t handle spicy.

This is thick and flavorful and if you are like me with a love of guacamole it will be gone quickly. We went through a big bowl in about 2 hours between 6 of us. It’s that good! Or you can exercise some self restraint and use it in a homemade burrito bowl, on a sandwich or a salad. But I tend to eat it too fast to do that Winking smile

I like to add a jalopeno (no seeds) to my guac, I like that kick!

I usually add jalapeno too but we had kiddos eating this one, can’t go too spicy for them.

I’m a purist with my guacamole. I like avocado, lime juice and zest, salt and some Adobo seasoning (either Byerly’s or Penzey’s) and that’s it. No tomato, onion, cilantro or anything else. I could eat it every. single. day.
